Wasabi Mayo Prawn

Once I attended my colleague's wedding, I fell in love in one of the wedding dishes and this is my very first time trying on this Wasabi Mayo Prawn. Basically, it's rather easy to prepare this dish, mainly the well-blend of mayo cum wasabi. I tried this for the very first time, the review was it tasted better if i add more wasabi powder.

Wasabi Mayo Prawn

6 tiger prawns (medium to large), shelled and deveined
1 egg white
1 tsp of Cornflour
90ml mayonnaise
1 Tbs condensed milk
1 tsp wasabi powder (it can be more, it depends on individual taste preference)
2 Tbs Lemon juice
Pinch of salt
Oil for frying
Roasted sesame seeds

1. Marinate the prawns with pinch of salt and 1 Tbs of lemon juice
2. Set aside for 15mins
3. Dip the prawns in egg white, then coat evenly with cornflour.
4. Fry the prawns in the very hot oil, then turn down the heat to medium, until prawns turn crispy.
5. Combine the mayonnaise, condensed milk, wasabi powder and lemon juice.
6. Toss the deep-fried prawns with the wasabi mayo until evenly coated.
7. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on the coated prawns
